Absolutely loved our experience at Pizzeria Donna Stella! The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. The restaurant is set in a beautiful lemon garden — such a magical place to dine. The owners are two lovely sisters, daughters of Donna Stella herself. One takes the orders, the other handles the payments — you can really feel the warm, family-run vibe throughout the place. Even though it’s known as a pizzeria, we went for a salad and the famous lemon pasta — and oh my, it was divine! The tortellini were out of this world, and the lemon tiramisu was unlike anything we’ve ever tasted — pure heaven. We paid around €80 (tips included) for two people: two main dishes, two cocktails, and one dessert. Highly recommend this beautiful family business when visiting Amalfi — it’s an absolute must! 🍋🍝

They make a good pizza here! Fresh from the wood fire over. Good choice on menu. Delicious dessert. One of the best pizzas we had in the Amalfi. The cherry is it’s nestled under a lemon 🍋 grove 🤩🫶❤️ €3 cover charge for each person.

We chose Donna Stella to host a welcome lunch for over 80 guests, and it could not have been more perfect. Many of our guests had already planned to dine at Donna Stella during their stay in Amalfi, so they were delighted (and pleasantly surprised) when they found out that’s where we were celebrating. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with delicious focaccia bread and prosecco, the perfect start. The appetizers, including fresh caprese and agrumi salad, were outstanding. The gnocchi was excellent, and the pizza was the highlight of the meal. Everyone raved about it, with the lemon ricotta pizza being the crowd favorite. For dessert, the lemon sorbet tied in perfectly with the Amalfi theme. The setting itself was magical. Dining under the lemon trees felt so special and so beautiful, it could have easily been a wedding reception. The staff was warm, kind, and attentive, and from the very beginning they were incredibly accommodating in answering all of my questions during planning. Our guests could not stop talking about how wonderful everything was, and for many who had never been to Italy before, it was the perfect first impression and welcome. Donna Stella truly set the tone for the rest of our wedding celebrations, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience.

If you’re in Amalfi and craving authentic pizza, Donna Stella is a must-visit! We ordered the Prosciutto e Funghi (tomato, mozzarella, ham, mushrooms) and the Annabella (tomato, buffalo mozzarella, ricotta cheese, black olives, arugula, and cherry tomatoes). Both pizzas were absolutely delicious, but the real standout was the crust. Perfectly baked, with just the right balance: not too crusty, not too soft. You can tell the dough is crafted with care. The menu itself is extensive, with a wide variety of both traditional and special pizzas, so there’s truly something for everyone. The setting is magical, you’re dining under lemon trees, with fresh lemons hanging above you, which makes the whole experience uniquely Amalfi. The atmosphere is lively and inviting. It does get busy, so I’d recommend going a little early. Even if there’s a wait (usually 15–20 minutes), it’s absolutely worth it. Highly recommend Donna Stella for its outstanding pizzas, beautiful ambiance, and true Amalfi charm.

We tried gnocchi with pesto and ravioli with lemon and riccota. The gnocchi were amazing, however the ravioli had a very strong lemon flavour, which we didn't like too much, but it may appeal to some. The customer service was pretty good, all the staff were nice and friendly. We visited in August and had to wait 30 minutes for a table since it was quite busy at that time. The prices range in about 20-30€ per dish. Athmosphere was nice and cozy.
