First time coming to Giannis, wonderful atmosphere, and great service. Our waiter was always on refilling our waters, exceptional! We got a special for the appetizer, and I got one of the specials for dinner. It was a pasta, smothered in lobster sauce with shrimp. Very filling and delicious. With that, also got a red sangria. We sat near the front of the restaurant, we were able to see all the night life pass by! Behind where we sat outside the restaurant was a Live band singer playing. It was pretty nice. My wife and I walked down from the Surf Club and it was about a 20 minute walk. The walk back really gives you vibes with the nightlife around here. We saw so many party buses drive-by! You definitely need a reservation to go here unless you’re going to sit at the bar. We were fortunate to find the same reservation for 7 PM and we booked it right online. Recommend booking in advance, or try emailing the restaurant for a reservation request. If you’re looking for some yummy Italian, give Giannis a try, delicious, right across from the Hilton. We had such a great time at Gianni’s! The food was amazing - especially the pasta they cook right in the cheese wheel. It’s super cool to watch and it was delicious. They also had a 2-for-1 deal on some cocktails, which was a nice bonus! The vibe was really nice and fun. We didn’t have a reservation and had to wait around 30 minutes (even on a Wednesday), so I’d definitely recommend booking ahead. Totally worth the wait though - everything was delicious! If you’re visiting Aruba and want to experience the island’s most famous cheese wheel pasta, Gianni’s is the spot. But brace yourself — it’s $28 plus $14 for the meatball, and you have to order two. So that’s $84 for a showy twirl of pasta in a wheel of cheese. It’s fun for Instagram, less so for your wallet or taste buds. The food itself? B-minus Italian at A-plus prices. The setting is lively, service friendly, and ambiance solid — but it all feels engineered for tourists. You leave more impressed by the theater of the cheese than the taste of it. Worth a visit once for the novelty. After that, there are better options on the island where you’ll actually remember the flavor, not just the bill.

Had an excellent dinner at Gianni’s! The shrimp and lobster pasta was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked seafood and a rich, flavorful vodka sauce that tied it all together. The service was excellent from start to finish, attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great meal in a beautiful setting!

I had a lovely lunch at Gianni’s. The gnocchi was rich, cheesy, and creamy — slightly overcooked for my preference, but overall quite tasty. The mango mojito was really refreshing. The service was great and the restaurant itself is really nice.
