One of the best spot in Elephant island! Came here 2 days in a row. Great coffee and amazing food! Especially breakfast 👌 Staff were very kind and helpful, thats why kept coming back. Defineltly recommend. Look at the view 🥹 Remote workers like me are also gonna love it as well. Internet is pretty good! We had such a good experience at Kana Kato! The staff was so nice, and willing to help us arrange everything personal we needed. The food was amazing, and they organised a trip through the Nubian village. They also arranged a guided airport transfer at 4 am, to make sure it all went smooth. All a very special experience.

Visited the restaurant. Food took quite a while to come out even though it wasn't busy, but that might be because they put a lot of effort into it. It was very good and big portions. Good view over the river as the restaurant is a few floors up. When paying we wanted to leave a tip and to our surprise the manager did not want to accept it. After working out the bill ourselves it seemed they included about a 15% service charge anyway, which was fine with us for the good experience.

Fantastic restaurant, great view of the Nile, delicious food, very reasonable price, excellent service, especially by Ahmed, and free boat to get there. After a few days of being hassled, this place was a breath of fresh air - they know how to deal with tourists!
