Great spot for cheap, local food. The staff are really helpful and prices are honest 🙌🏼 The outdoor seating is really nice too as you’re sitting in the old market street so you get a nice local feel. Delicious food. Chicken, beef, liver and mixed (alllll of the organs/insides mixed together - not for the squimish, but tasty). They offer sandwiches and plates, with pickled vegetables (very salty), tomato salad and roasted eggplant. An array of sauces to make it extra flavorful. Large plates for two including drinks for 200 EGP. small seating inside or on the ground of the souk (with small chairs on rugs, very atmospheric). Limited English, but the people on the market are happy to help translate :) we returned three times, favorite place to eat in Aswan! Ask for Hawawshi! Grilled meat in a greasy grilled bread, absolutely delicious with garlic sauce! Nice owner, will try his best to explain everything for you. Great food, kebab, liver plate, beef stomach mix. Traditional Egypt street food. Located in a bazaar so sitting area very clean and tidy. 100% recommend.

Nice owner, will try his best to explain everything for you. Great food, kebab, liver plate, beef stomach mix. Traditional Egypt street food. Located in a bazaar so sitting area very clean and tidy. 100% recommend.

Good egyptian street food, egyptian price, Hawawshi was the best. middle of the Bazar walk. there are flies around, but it is street food in egypt🤷♂️. Recommended.
