This is an active yet relaxing experience, offering numerous picturesque views and an exhilarating adrenaline rush as you cross vertical walls. Only a short drive from the lake and tucked into a narrow valley, lies the Vintgar Gorge, one of the most popular attractions around Bled. A 1.5 hour hike will lead you through the ravine as you admire the clear flow of Radovna River, walk over bridges and tread the boardwalks, every bend more picturesque than the last. The tour will take us up Vršič Pass - one of the most popular mountain passes in the country, which lies at 1600 m (5250 ft). The spectacular drive up follows a road built during WWI and offers incredible views of the mountains as well as remarkable war time stories. We will stop at the Russian Chapel memorial and marvel at the achievement of Russian POWs, who built this winding road with its 50 hairpin bends.
