The crispy palabok was so unique. The server kindly offered to pour the sauce on but we declined. This was a great choice as pouring the sauce on as we took portions kept the noodles crispy. The anchovies added great umami and there was plenty of ingredients. The kare kare rice bowl was also delicious. Ate here for lunch. We ordered pork bbq and the most recommended crispy palabok. I have to say that the pork bbq was spot on. Well cooked and tender. The sauce was a perfect match. It was a first for me not dipping it in spicy vinegar for a grilled food. As for the crispy palabok, it was well presented. Though it was hard to mix but it was worth it. Taste is good. Certainly crispy but consume it asap so the noodles don't get soggy on you. Price is slightly higher than your average carenderia but affordable and worth in terms of taste. I will definitely come back when I visit Boracay again. I was skeptical at first. But yes, the walk was definitely worth it. Far from the busy parts of Boracay. Quiet, peaceful, and calm. Even on a hot afternoon. The food was what it says it was. Not pretentious. I had to finish every single bite. Even cleaned up my wife’s plate as she had too much already. We ordered Adobo Sa Gata & Binagoongan. Worth every cent. I would just drizzle the Adobo in more gata sauce. Embrace its magic Ok. Just add to this edit. We just had the Turon ala Mode. Simple, clean, refreshing! Period! But yeah, I can imagine it having crumbled Chocnut on top…

We ate dinner tho our orders are merienda menus: Lumpiang Gulay (my favorite and my reason for going there) It’s hot off the fryer, good size and lots of bean sprouts which is my preference. However they should consider concocting special vinegar with red onions, cucumber and chillies to pair with the lumpia considering it’s priced at 220php per order. Tokwa’t Baboy - I love the pork parts used, as for the tofu, I suggest frying it per piece then slicing it with sides not cooked for better absorption of sauce. For the sauce, it can be improved in terms of sweetness and sourness balance. Pancit Bihon - noodles were cooked evenly, it has a lot of recados however it’s a bit salty. Pleasant service from Maui. Nice place too. Will comeback to try the bestsellers next time.
