Goulash & Langosh Bar is a small, casual spot that delivers hearty Hungarian flavors. The goulash is rich and filling, and the langosh—crispy, fried, and topped generously—is a must-try. Portions are generous, making it good value for a quick, satisfying meal. The staff are generally friendly, though service can slow down when it’s busy, so expect some wait times during peak hours. The space itself is compact and basic, so it’s more about the food than ambience. Cleanliness is adequate but not spotless, and tables can feel a bit cramped. Prices are reasonable, though some may find them slightly high considering the simplicity of the setup. Pros: Delicious, hearty food; generous portions; friendly staff. Cons: Slow service when busy; small, basic seating; average hygiene. Overall, it’s ideal for a casual, quick taste of authentic Hungarian dishes rather than a fine-dining experience. Good location right in the center. We went there with tired legs but the waitress (Claudia) soon found a place for us. She also helped us order the vegetarian dishes within the hungarian menu. Big portions and quite tasty local food. At prices which were cheaper than other restaurants in that area. Would definitely recommend to try out This restaurant was overall a decent place to try Hungarian food, and its location was quite good. The quality of the food was above average, and if you want to taste local cuisine, it can be a good option. However, I found the cleanliness to be weak. For example, the tablecloths were not changed between guests – the same dirty one from the previous customer was left for the next. In addition, it looked like there hadn’t been proper pest control, as there were small bugs that could easily be removed with a simple spraying, as you can also see in the photos. Look at the lamps under on top of the tables that we had dinner. Not clean! The staff were also not very attentive or professional. They didn’t handle the service in a very organized way. Even when I asked to pay the bill, I had to repeat the request to several different people before someone finally came to collect the payment. In summary: if you want to try Hungarian food, this place can be fine, but don’t expect high standards of cleanliness or very polished service.

We so appreciated that our group of 8 was accommodated comfortably and the wonderful service by Klaudia. The Goulash was particularly tasty. The Langos was our first one and didn’t disappoint. Drinks (non-alcoholic) were a bit pricey, even the water, which appeared to be tap water, was $5 for a liter, a can of Coke $5.

The goulash was very tasty, just sadly a rather small portion and the langos was also very good, but again extremely small. The prices were much cheaper if you paid cash (also euros!!) and no service charge included. The service could have been a bit more friendly. But overall a cool experience.
