I must admit that I came with very high expectations and was ready to be disappointed. That was absolutely not the case from the moment we arrived we were greeted by the extremely nice host in that level of kindness followed for the rest of the night. We had a 15 course menu in each one was an absolute creative triumph. My husband is vegetarian and I am allergic to shellfish, but we were both presented with uniquely designed menu. The ambiance on the floor was like the movie The Menu, except our night ended in a better way on the second floor with wonderful desserts and cognac. One of my best Michelin experiences. Every dish was creative, precise, and beautifully presented. The service was outstanding, and Chef Gonzalo Aramburu personally came to our table a memorable touch to an unforgettable evening. Everything was perfect. From the moment we sat down, to the very end 2.5 hours later we had a great time. It was really cool to be able to watch the kitchen cook, and everything we had was delicious. Going upstairs for desert at the end was a fun bonus too.

Life changing dining experience. Truly an elite restaurant worthy of the 2 star distinction. Menu changes seasonally with a wide selection of exquisite Argentinian wines. Vibe is a bit stuffy personally I prefer a bit of a livelier space but I totally understand their reasoning. Obviously very expensive but if you’re in CABA this is an incredible place for dinner.

Background: Aramburu is a Michelin two star restaurant located in Buenos Aires. We sat at the chef’s table which was to the side, facing the kitchen. This allowed us to watch some of the dishes being made and refined. Strengths: Great food, made reservations without any research on the menu and I was very happy with everything I was served. We were able to easily communicate being primarily English speakers. The servers were attentive and brought out our plates once we had completed the previous one, servers also kept our table tidy. When traveling I tend to not wear anything ostentatious, and was happy to not be made to feel out of place in a simple dress. Dessert service takes place upstairs which really allowed us to feel relaxed and not rushed after our meal. Weaknesses: While not a difficult location to find, we had to wait for someone to open the door to greet us, even though we had arrived promptly for our reservation. This left us to awkwardly stand outside wondering if the restaurant was indeed open. It is a bit dark in the restrooms. Purse accommodations: Accommodations were available in the form of a purse hanger. I would recommend to bring a shoulder bag. Overall: Strengths clearly outweigh the weaknesses, and I would highly recommend. The Michelin rating is deserved with their attention to detail. Notes: Please note that these photos are from April 2025. I did not select to do the optional wine pairing.
