Love this place. Great food. Great drinks. Great ambiance. Great service. If you want to feel like a king/queen ask for Assan to wait on you/treat you to his amazing customer service and recommendations on food /wine. Highly recommend this restaurant. Lamb chops are outta this world. King clip with the “green sauce” is the most unique fish dish I’ve had and hands down one of the best. The Mezze starter with the garlic bread is not to be missed. No matter what you order- you can’t go wrong. Oh! And the Malvo pudding with house made ice cream!!!!!!!! Do your self a favor- eat here and tell Assan I said hello. ;-) The service wasn’t the best, but to be fair, the team was quite busy. The atmosphere could be improved in certain areas, but at the end of the day, we came for the food and that certainly didn’t disappoint. Couldn’t fault the main dishes at all. VIXI is a really great spot for good food and great drinks. Interior has a fun Boho decor and the view into the kitchen doesn't distract. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the vibes are good. Everything is a little on the pricier side (R670 incl tip for 2x people. 1 drink, 1 main each), but the portions generous and delicious and I'd easily recommend it.

Exceptional service, wonderful menu selections, and great flavors await you at this upbeat restaurant with an open kitchen. I am so impressed by how many different people stopped at my table to deliver food, drinks, and just checking in. A must visit while in Cape Town.

Hands down my favorite spot from my Cape Town trip. All of the staff were super friendly. The food was top tier. From the ribeye to the pasta and dessert - had to visit again before heading to the airport!
