The location, atmosphere and beauty of the place is fabulous! Can't be beat. Lots of nooks and crannies and lots of servers. The presentation was also quite nice, but I found the tea far too strong and bitter and the meat omelette too salty. Our friend's vegetarian omelette was perfect. And the fresh orange juice more than made up for the tea! My Asian taste buds did not really appreciate the Moroccon tanji tastes. The barbecue grilled items were tasty. Slightly bald on flavoring. Wrought iron Seating pretty uncomfortable and heavy to move. This place seemed pretty greedy in terms of offering tissues. The small spoons given were difficult to use. Honey crème Brulee was excellent along with the Morrocon tea. Speed and Service can improve tremendously. RESTUARANT is in a beautiful place. Nice atmosphere. Beautiful Setting, But Service Needs Serious Improvement La Squala is undeniably one of Casablanca's most charming restaurants. The atmosphere is absolutely wonderful – the live music creates a vibrant yet sophisticated ambiance, and the overall setting is genuinely delightful. It's the kind of place you want to love. Unfortunately, our dining experience was significantly marred by chaotic and poorly coordinated service. Despite specifically requesting a ten-minute gap between courses, our main course arrived while we were only halfway through our starters – completely disrupting the flow of our meal. The problems continued throughout the evening. Clearing our table took an unreasonable amount of time, and we had to wait far too long just to receive the dessert menu. Most frustratingly, after our tea was served, there was an excessively long wait before our desserts finally arrived. La Squala has all the ingredients for an exceptional dining experience – the atmosphere, the music, and the setting are all there. However, the management really needs to address the service issues. With better coordination and training, this could easily be a five-star establishment. I hope they take this feedback constructively, as I'd love to return and have the experience match the beautiful venue.

La Sqala is a must-visit dining spot in Casablanca, offering a well-rounded introduction to Moroccan cuisine in a beautifully atmospheric setting. With dedicated breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus, the restaurant caters to a wide range of tastes while showcasing local ingredients and flavours. I visited for lunch and started with the Moroccan Salad, a fresh and vibrant dish where the quality of the vegetables really stood out. It worked well both as a standalone entrée and as a complement to the main course. For mains, we ordered the T-bone steak and a kofta platter. The steak was cooked to perfection (medium-well), served with a crisp salad and creamy potato gratin. The kofta was equally flavourful, paired with perfectly seasoned chips. To finish, we shared the hazelnut noisette, a rich and indulgent dessert reminiscent of a Ferrero Rocher cake. The portion size was generous — easily enough for three people. For the table, we were also served olives, warm bread, and a trio of dips (houmous, tomato, and chilli). These were fresh and full of flavour, making for a great start to the meal. Overall, La Sqala offers excellent food in a charming setting, with attentive service and a menu that reflects both traditional and contemporary Moroccan tastes. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Casablanca.

Great experience. From the music to the food and service - everything was fantastic. Staff spoke good English and helped with gluten free requirements. The beef shank tangine was so delicious and the frozen nougat was amazing. Nice atmosphere having live music and sitting out in the garden was lovely. Service was amazing without being over the top. Definitely recommend eating here. The afternoon tea looks fantastic too.
