Outstanding experience at Luca, food, service and ambience unmatched in Gran Cayman. We sat outside to watch the sunset, which was beautiful. We ordered the tuna tartare tacos and the gambas as starters, delicious. We ordered the seafood linguine which was delicious, spicy and al dente as it should be. I ordered the branzino but asked the chef to do it whole skin on roasted in the oven. It was one of the best prepared I had for a long time. Our best restaurant so far in Gran Cayman, will be back!

Quaint Italian restaurant with excellent wine list and top notch service. My husband had the sea bass which was wonderful. I had the chicken piccata with a fantastic sauce. We also enjoyed key lime pie and gelato.

I was thoroughly disappointed with the food at this restaurant. The dishes lacked flavor—even salt had to be added—and overall, the meal felt very basic with nothing particularly special about it. On a more positive note, the drinks were well made, and the staff was excellent: attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful, which we truly appreciated. Unfortunately, the ambiance didn’t meet expectations either. The surrounding pool area obstructed the view of the beach and sunset, which was a letdown. Overall, this was not one of the better dining experiences I’ve had on the island.

Food and service were absolutely amazing. Our waiter knew the menu inside and out and our water glasses were never empty. Everyone there was just really on top of it. We went at 6:30 and sat outside, the sunset was beautiful.

We discovered Luca’s Restaurant through a search on our maps, and after reading the glowing reviews, we decided to give it a try. I’m so glad we did because Luca’s did not disappoint—in fact, we ended up dining there three nights in a row! The prices were very reasonable, and the quality of the food was outstanding. One of the highlights was their homemade pasta, which was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavor, showcasing the care and attention they put into their ingredients and preparation. What truly set Luca’s apart, though, was the impeccable service. The waitstaff went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable. They were attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. As an added bonus, we were able to watch the sunset from both inside and outside the restaurant, which made the ambiance even more special. If you’re looking for a restaurant with great food, excellent service, and a beautiful setting, Luca’s is a must-visit.
