I went there on a weekend for lunch, and the place was fairly empty. They were huge seating area indoors as well as a fairly large amount of seat outdoors. My first impression looking at how empty the place was maybe that the food wasn’t good, but I was proven wrong. The place has very classic irish and British pub vibe with wooden furniture. They had some soccer matches going on the television above the bar, giving it a bit of a sports bar vibe. The service was prompt. I got the Sunday roast, and it was actually very good. The Yorkshire pudding was light and fluffy. The mashed potatoes were seasoned well. The beans were just meh but I didn’t care much. The beef was thinly slice, but not dry and the gravy had a lot of flavour. Also, it was fairly expensive. I think more people should be visiting this restaurant because the food is pretty good. Fish and chips were great. Portion was a little small on the fish. But they give option for 2nd filet. Beer selection was good and nicely chilled. Had a Boddingtons which I haven’t been able to get in a while. Bartender was fantastic keeping my water filled. Overall, it’s a decent place for a drink or a casual hangout, especially with the friendly service and nice vibe. But if you’re going for the food, you might want to look elsewhere. the food was a letdown. It didn’t taste fresh at all, and much of it gave the impression of being reheated from frozen. The texture and flavor just weren’t there, and it lacked the quality you'd hope for in a dine-in experience. It’s disappointing when a meal feels more like something out of a microwave than a kitchen.

The food was great and really well prepared. The staff gave some really good recommendations that we ended up loving. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Overall, a really nice spot to eat.

Can’t comment on the English food but I got the butter chicken and it was incredible for an English pub. Both drinks were reasonably priced and delicious. I also got a tasty cheesecake as well. It was very loud inside to the point I couldn’t hear anything the server was saying but then I was sat outside and that was enjoyable.
