A local gem that was near our resort. Seating is outside. We ate here twice. The food was decent. Not too many menu options but enough for the establishment. The conch was a lil overcooked. The fries, snapper, shrimp and fish soup were all good & the sauce/gravy. The ketchup is different and tasty as well. You can taste the difference in Curacao coke cola vs America. Loved their coke cola. The waitresses are nice as well as the guy that was there. One night we only ordered fish soup which they were out of, but the owner had it made for us. Amazing local food, fresh fish that they catch themselves. Prices are good and the staff is nice and friendly. The owner took some time to tell me the history of the place. Very cool to hear. We had a Red snapper and a mahi mahi. Both were very well prepared and full of "meat". Portions are plenty. Visit this place and support this local restaurant, its worth it! Amazing local food, fresh fish that they catch themselves. Prices are good and the staff is nice and friendly. The owner took some time to tell me the history of the place. Very cool to hear. Great little seaside shanty. The food was straight from the sea and the service was great. I would have liked a little garlic butter or something on the fish. It seamed like it was from the sea, to the grill, to the plate, without a lot of intervention along the way, but the Creole sauce was nice. Pretty much what you would expect from a shack next to the beach. Definitely the real deal, but not elevated in any way.

Recommended to us for good local food by our AirBnb host which is walking distance from this place. Needed something as we were hungry from travelling. First meal on the island and no complaints. Good food, service, and location. Reasonable prices for what you get. Best fried snapper I’ve had in a while.

Wanted seafood on our first night... Found this by chance and let me tell you IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The owner was super welcoming and the food was SO delicious... If you are in Curacao do yourself a favor and grab a meal here
