This was the absolute best food we had on the island! Everything was seasoned perfectly. We had a variety of snapper, mutton, ribs, and fried chicken. Everything was perfect! The sides were large and also delicious. The prices were very reasonable. The people were so sweet! If you are in Exuma, go eat at Eddie’s Edgewater!

Easily the best value for your money. Huge portion, no hidden extra tip or tax or whatnot. The food tastes amazing, just like grandma’s kitchen. If I would’ve stayed there for a week, honestly, it would be my everyday choice for dinner. You have the best ready to wait though, it took around 50 minutes to get the food, so go there a little bit before you are starving.

Eddie’s has some of the best food on the island! We ordered takeaway here twice and both times we were blown away. The food is great! Super fresh and amazing value for money, around $18-20 per plate with huge portions. The staff are very friendly and you know its good when the locals eat there too. The peas n rice & crack chicken was the best we had! Highly recommend.

Not much has changed at Eddies in 30 years since I was last here. The food was excellent (we had a fish and fried chicken dinner) and well worth the wait, the rake and scrape band is always so much fun, food and beer are cheap. We sat out front but there is very limited seating there and be sure to bring v big spray. Always an great evening and must do in Georgetown

Eddie’s Edgewater was a hidden gem and truly one of our favorite dinner spots! We stopped by simply because it was on the way to our Airbnb and happened to be open—but what a lucky find! The atmosphere was relaxed, and the server was incredibly kind and welcoming. Dinner service had just started when we arrived, so the food took a little time, but it was absolutely worth the wait. I had the steamed grouper—so fresh and flavorful! My husband and kids had the jerk chicken and ribs, and they raved about everything—especially the mac and cheese, which was a hit with everyone. The portions were generous and everything tasted homemade and full of love. Their card machine was down, so we had to pay in cash. We were actually $3 short, but the server kindly waved it off with a smile—just another reflection of how warm and pleasant she was. While we waited, my daughter played at the little park in front of the restaurant with some local kids, which made the whole experience feel even more special and authentic. If you’re in the area, don’t miss this place. Great people, great food, and a memory we’ll always treasure.
