Best lunch vibe ever!! "Sergeant Satchmo BMF" had us laughing in tears like visiting with a long lost pal. Outstanding ribs and grouper fries. Stunning views. It's an absolutely amazing gem of a spot and well worth the stop!! It’s my understanding this establishment was involved in putting pigs on “little pig island” across from the restaurant. If you place animals in a foreign location that forces them to rely on people to bring them food and water everyday, you should at least ensure they’re being provided adequate means of survival and also shade from the sun! It was really tragic to witness the conditions the pigs are living in with no shade causing their skin to become sunburned and peeling off. The piglets looked very unhealthy and starving. I understand putting them across from the restaurant brings tourist and more business, but it’s your responsibility to take proper care of them. We were beach hopping that day and found this little beach where we would not ever swim because we saw sharks right by the pier. We even came back another day, were wondering if they are there and they were. Found them at the same location just swimming around the pier. There were no fishermen or anyone else with bait to attract the sharks. I guess it’s just their spot. Can’t say anything about the buffet since it was closed.

Wonderful experience. Staff very welcoming food was everything you would hope to experience in a Bahama beach front bar. Was the Best lobster we ate in Bahamas.

This was by FAR the best food and company I’ve had in years. We told Marianne(the kindest human EVER) to make us something of her choice with lobster. And did she deliver! Lobster 3 ways.. fried, sautéed with sweet onion and carrots( soooo delicious) and Mac and cheese. I almost cried it was so good. And she offered to cook and deliver to our VRBO! We are going back tomorrow for the buffet. I can’t wait to sample everything. High point of our trip so far.
