We decided to splurge for our last night in Guadalupe. We we not disappointed. We were treated to an amazing French dinner! Foie Gras, shrimp tartare, filet mignon and red snapper. Terrific service. We arrived early and were able to snag a table but the place filled up quickly. Reservations are in order for this unique restaurant by the marina. We were lucky to get a table here on a Saturday night without making a reservation. The two of us shared the beef tartare (soooo delicious), Bali rolls (a def pick for any fish roe lovers), and the swordfish steak. All the portions were generous, so don’t over order like we did. The fish was a bit dry, but that was expected given the texture of the swordfish. Wines were tasty too! The menu was written on the board (in French), but the staff tried to be helpful in English. Just come prepared and use google translate for the menu. Service was excellent. Great ambient. Food really good. A bit on pricier side but definitely worth the money. (They speak some english which is not to take for granted on this Island). Drinks are great.

We decided to splurge for our last night in Guadalupe. We we not disappointed. We were treated to an amazing French dinner! Foie Gras, shrimp tartare, filet mignon and red snapper. Terrific service. We arrived early and were able to snag a table but the place filled up quickly. Reservations are in order for this unique restaurant by the marina.

We were lucky to get a table here on a Saturday night without making a reservation. The two of us shared the beef tartare (soooo delicious), Bali rolls (a def pick for any fish roe lovers), and the swordfish steak. All the portions were generous, so don’t over order like we did. The fish was a bit dry, but that was expected given the texture of the swordfish. Wines were tasty too! The menu was written on the board (in French), but the staff tried to be helpful in English. Just come prepared and use google translate for the menu.

By far the best restaurant we've tried on the island. After a year here, we've never been disappointed by La Cantine. Every meal is a real treat! The setting is great, the welcome warm... We recommend it without hesitation.
