We have been here twice this month. Both times we ordered the fresh lobster. The first time the total score would be a big 5. The lobster and the service was great. So high expectations for the second time. Unfortunately the lobster was too well done on the grilled side, while the meat in the legs was still raw. Also the service, it was okay but not what it was the first time. As compensation for the less quality of the lobster we got a free desert, but rather pay the full price for the right quality. So overall, guess depends on the crew of the day both in the kitchen as in the restaurant on the day you visit the restaurant. Our first time was on a Monday, second time on a Friday.

Le Zagaya, located in Saint-François, is a high-quality restaurant offering unique and imaginative dishes, beautifully presented. The menu and drinks are identical to those at its sister restaurant, Koté Sud, featuring fresh, in-house preparations with an emphasis on seafood. The friendly and attentive staff contribute to an excellent dining experience. The wine list is impressive, complementing the culinary offerings. During our visit, we started with the “Eggs Parfait,” an intriguing appetizer featuring an egg with ricotta cheese and fresh mint topping. While the dish was well-executed, personal preferences—such as a dislike for cold, runny eggs or mint—may affect enjoyment. For the main course, we had the ribeye steak, which was well-prepared and served with homemade French fries and a salad, making for a satisfying meal. Le Zagaya’s consistent quality across its locations makes it a reliable choice for those seeking fresh, creative cuisine in Guadeloupe. However, if you’ve recently dined at Koté Sud, you might find the experience quite similar. Nonetheless, the exceptional service and delightful dishes make Le Zagaya a restaurant worth visiting.

Went there for dinner, it was very nice. Good view, very good food and great service. If you went to go to a restaurant with a sea view, this one is it. It is a bit on the pricey side but if you would splurge on one restaurant it would be this one! Highly recommend!

The first time I came here. The landscape is amazing and so beautiful. The staff is friendly and amazing. Everything was perfect and we feel so welcome! Definitely one of the place you need to try when you are in the area. The food was tasty and the taste was just. Love the pimento sauce which is very spicy. Love love love!

Fabulous location, excellent service only was to much food for New Year’s Eve we couldn’t finish. Perhaps smaller portions as we see a lot of food going back. Less waste. But then again some people may ok with.
