TL;DR: This place tries to be fine dining, but it isn’t. Perhaps a place that fits the westerners, but as an Asian girlie I’d suggest that you go elsewhere. Food is over-priced, tastes subpar, music is way too loud and open concept made it feel humid. For detailed reviews: Views The view is pretty only if your table faces KLCC. From other angles you’re mostly looking at a big concrete roof and less scenic parts of KL, which breaks the “wow” factor a rooftop restaurant is supposed to have. Comfort It’s fully open air. They had standing air-con units and fans, but I still got sweaty quickly. If you sweat easily and don’t love humidity, note that you won’t get that cool, enclosed, date-night feel. Food Tastes were decent but not memorable. For the price, I expected more depth in flavour, and creativity in execution. It felt like you’re paying for the rooftop setting rather than what’s on the plate. If I’m spending that much, I want a dish that makes me pause and go, “okay, worth it.” This wasn’t that. Service Polite, prompt and attentive, but too eager. Plates were cleared almost the moment we put our cutlery down, with repeated “are you done, can we clear this?” interruptions. The dessert menu arrived almost immediately after the mains. It cut into our conversation and made the meal feel rushed. Service crew needs to learn to read the room a little more. We weren’t even crossing the time limit, it was barely an hour in. Vibe Music was on the louder side and the bar crowd got loud fairly quickly. It felt more like a drinks-with-friends over dinner spot than a calm, romantic place where you dress up and enjoy a slow dinner. Verdict If you want sunset cocktails and a KLCC backdrop, it does the job (as long as you snag that view). For a special-occasion dinner where you’re expecting air-conditioning, unhurried pacing and food that matches the premium price, I’d pick somewhere else. 2nd time here. First time was when my and my girlfriend started dating and this was one of our first dates. This time around, decided to propose here with the KL skyline as a backdrop. Quite pricey but the food was good and the ambience was chill. Of course the views were amazing. You get a clear view of the Petronas twin towers, TRX, Pavilion Mall and the top portion of the Merdeka 118. Overall a good place if you are trying to impress a new date or celebrate/perform a big step in your life This rooftop provide stunning view, but you give money for the view only, staff is not welcoming if you just have to visit for drinks, the menu is very limited and the taste is just below average. As for price it is not very expensive, we paid 124 MYR for 2 orange juices and apple pie with German cream cheese cake slice.

My dad brought my family and me to Cielon for my birthday on 5/10/25. I would say it’s quite pricey, and the food was just okay. The view was great since it’s an outdoor seating area, and the waiters were friendly and attentive. However, there was one unpleasant incident that spoiled our experience — the valet guy was extremely rude to my dad. It was our first time visiting that building, and we were unsure about the parking system. We saw a sign pointing to the parking area, which turned out to be an elevated parking. There was no one stationed there to inform us about the procedure, so we followed the steps displayed. Before we could even finish reading the last step, the valet guy was already staring at us and waiting for us to come out. When my dad politely asked what we should do next, the valet guy replied rudely, “FIRST YOU READ THE STEPS LA.” My dad was clearly offended, and the guy didn’t even apologize afterward. He just said only one person should park or hand over the car to the valet but honestly, how would we know that when there were no proper instructions outside the parking area? I was really disappointed by his behavior. It completely ruined what was supposed to be a special day for me. Maybe he acted that way because we drove a Myvi, which is unfair. We spent over RM2400 on dinner, and no one should be judged or treated differently based on their car or appearance.

Brought a friend for a birthday dinner on a Monday night. Not crowded and they placed us in a nice spot at the upper deck because I asked nicely. Food was good, Titara and Andrew were fantastic servers, atmosphere was perfect for talking. They were not rushing us at all. Overall an experience that still makes me smile when I think back about it. My review is only valid for weekday experiences.
