Placeholder review for my own future reference. Tldr: Pretty average in terms of taste, quality, and price point. Wait: - Waited about 20-30 min (utilized a paper wait list; i.e. no reservations). - Had to preorder before being seated (appears to have been the only pair/group requested to do so. Maybe they thought they were getting backed up but realized otherwise) - Food was served promptly when seated Food: - Bought the premium set for myself and beef tongue for my dad. - Dad didn't like the beef tongue, but it seems like something that would be difficult for most to enjoy. It was very chewy from the one piece I had and my dad usually likes chewy. - Premium set wasn't bad, but some pieces were entirely fat/not meat which was disappointing. - Neither exceptional or bad for approximately ~$27 USD. Miso soup too salty for me, dad's was fine (i.e. not consistent quality). Had better for the same price point. - Loved that they left a pitcher of hot tea at the table. We waited 30 minutes to get our table. The food here was absolutely delicious and served quick! We ordered the Number 4 — the Sirloin Wagyu set — and it was amazing. The meat was so fresh, tender, and full of flavor. Every sauce was great, but my favorite was definitely the curry sauce! The atmosphere was very pleasant and comfortable, making the whole dining experience even better. The service was excellent — all the waiters were friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Overall, a great place with delicious food, fresh ingredients, and a wonderful atmosphere! Hope to come back one day. The best gyukatsu ever! I order the sirloin gyukatsu, the meat really soft and the sauce really light, not like other gyukatsu sauce that too strong for my taste. We are a group of 6 where in Japan, it's hard to find seat in the restaurant for big group of people, but we manage to get the seat with no problem although the waiting list is long.

Very delicious beef "tonkatsu". We tried the Japanese beef sirloin and tenderloin gyukastu zen sets, and added a beef sukiyaki. We are impressed with the quality of the meals and services. We will definitely visit this chain restaurant again.

Very good gyukatsu! No line right around opening, and food came out very fast. Meat was perfectly tender and paired well with the different sauces. Service was friendly, and prices were reasonable. English menu available. Multiple locations available.
