My fiancé and I recently had lunch at Oste, and the experience was exceptional. This charming, intimate restaurant immediately transported us to the streets of Italy with its warm atmosphere and thoughtful design. We began with the Burrata al Pesto accompanied by their housemade bread, which must be ordered separately—though it is absolutely worth it. The bread arrived perfectly toasted with a satisfying crunch, and the burrata was incredibly fresh and flavorful. We also shared the Truffle Fries with Truffle Aioli, which were impressively crisp and generously portioned. Even after sitting for several minutes, the fries maintained their crunch, and the aioli offered a rich truffle essence that paired beautifully. For our entrées, I ordered the Tortellini di Carne—handmade tortellini that melted in the mouth, filled with tender short rib that was truly exceptional. My fiancé enjoyed the Pappardelle alla Vaccinara, featuring perfectly cooked pasta and deeply flavorful braised oxtail. One standout element of our visit was the owner’s presence and attentiveness. He actively supported his staff, greeted guests, and personally checked in to ensure diners were enjoying their meals. His involvement clearly contributes to the success and welcoming environment of this establishment. This translates to the wait staff as they were very helpful and friendly. One helped us with great recommendations. Overall, Oste offers outstanding cuisine, impeccable service, and a genuine passion for hospitality. It is easily one of the best Italian dining experiences in Los Angeles, and we look forward to returning. Food was amazing. Everyone loved their dishes. This New Yorker was skeptical of LA pizza, but it was one of the best I've ever had. The service was even better. If a crumb hit the table and somebody was over to pick it up. Very attentive. The prices were very resonable as well. We enjoyed the atmosphere sitting outside. Will definitely come back next time in LA. BTW. How I found this place was I asked google to give me the best Italian food in Los Angeles. Google hit a home run! Oste in Beverly Grove is a delightful Italian gem that never disappoints. Their pinsa—a Roman-style pizza—is a must-try. The dough is light, airy, and perfectly charred, offering a unique twist on traditional pizza. I highly recommend the XXtra Pepperoni Lovers Pinsa for a flavorful experience. The drink menu complements the meal beautifully, and Barman Owen is an outstanding host—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, making every visit even more enjoyable. 🍸 And their tiramisu… wow! Creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced, it’s the ideal way to end a meal. 🍰 Whether you're a local or visiting, Oste offers a warm ambiance, consistently excellent food and drinks, and top-notch service. It's a spot I always look forward to returning to.

The mushroom pizza was the highlight of my meal, and our waiter recommended it with the chili oil, which truly made the pizza twice as delicious. I’d come again just for that. However, the pappardelle wasn’t my favorite—the noodles were hard and the sauce was rather bland. We were also recommended the tiramisu, but it was quite heavy in its liqueur flavor and nothing special. The waitstaff was very attentive, maybe even too attentive if that’s possible. We had multiple waiters come up to our table and ask us if we needed anything, to the point that it got to be almost distracting to our meal. Huge points for the ambiance though—we dined outside and I loved the vibes! Definitely worth checking this place out!

Went to Oste in LA for a Sunday dinner at 6 pm. The restaurant was quite crowded, and there was about a 20-minute wait to be seated, which felt typical for such a popular spot. Once seated, the service was impressively quick and attentive. The staff were friendly, regularly checking in and refilling water promptly. The atmosphere was lively yet welcoming, making the wait worthwhile. Overall, great service and a pleasant experience that I would recommend for a casual but special dinner night out.
