This resort appearsa to be overhyped. The management is not efficient. We were made to stay in an adjacent resort nearly 200 metres from the dining hall as our confirmed booking was allotted to some white skinned tourists. It seems they are a bit biased towards fair coloured skins. The rooms were good but electricity goes off at 11 PM or earlier. Very high water scarcity and food is limited in variety as also quantity and does not suit Indians. However, the staffs are helpful and very cooperative. Small animals like hyenas make frequent visits at night. Going outside the tent at night is strictly prohibited. However, the thrill to stay here despite its cons is enjoyable. A very nice place close to the Masai Mara National Reserve main gate. We didn't use the tents because we slept in our rooftop tent in the camping area, but we had offered a tour to see the facilities and I was surprised how nice they are. Eljiah and the team were very kind and helpful (except Ezequiel, I do not recommend to hire him as a guide). We stayed one night to camp so we could enter Masai Mara National Park early the next day. The dining and kitchen facilities were very clean, and there were outlets for charging mobile devices. The bathrooms and showers were clean and had toilet paper.

This was the perfect place to spend a night before entering Masai Mara through Sekenani. The hosts welcomed us and helped us to find firewood before we set up camp. We were the only guests self driving so we had the campsite to ourselves and it cost about $20 USD per person to stay.

Stayed one night in this Masai campsite in rooftop tent, 10minutes from gate, no other overlanders that night with plenty of space. Firepits and clean bathrooms. We paid $10pp.
