Getting Around

Getting around Marmaris is easy and affordable. Dolmuş (minibuses) are the most popular and cost-effective way to travel between Marmaris center, Icmeler, and other nearby towns. Taxis are readily available but more expensive. For exploring the coastline and surrounding islands, numerous boat trips and water taxis operate from the marina. Renting a scooter or car offers more freedom, but be mindful of parking in busy areas. Walking is ideal for exploring the immediate waterfront and town center.
