It's one of the places i always seem to end up coming back to in el DF, the view is fantastic (but weirdly not great for getting photos in the afternoon due to the sun setting). The food is top, the service top, the menu, the drinks, all are just great here. No doubt will be back again and again! The best part about El Mayor is definitely the view—it’s stunning and makes the atmosphere special. Unfortunately, the food didn’t really live up to the setting. The dishes were pricey but pretty ordinary, nothing memorable for the cost. I was also surprised that they charged extra for tortillas, which felt unusual for a restaurant of this level. Another drawback is that, even though it’s a famous and touristy spot, the staff didn’t speak any English, which made ordering a bit tricky. On top of that, they sort of push you to tip, which left the experience feeling less comfortable. Maybe the best roof top terrace view on city. Service was slow, we waited over 15minutes after we ordered our drinks. Waiter apologized, so it's OK we can understand if terrace was busy. Prices are reasonable, beer was good, lemonade very refreshing. Sanitarios are clean and tidy. I don't know about food since we didn't here.

Good but too expensive for what it is. There a lot of people and you might have to queue to get a table. Great view!

Can't beat the rooftop seating that had a great view of Templo Mayor. Very open atmosphere with cool mural designs on the wall. The path to the bathrooms were so cool cause there were mirrors everywhere and it was kinda easy to get lost but it's okay cause the experience was cool. We also had to take an elevator to get up here so that was swag. The waiter that was serving was clearly very seasoned, he seemed very experienced i.n what he was doing and lowkey gave stern-but-nice grandpa vibes I ordered chilaquiles with verde sauce, and it was alright. It wasn't my favorite. But the fruit bowl and the concha that my friends ordered were FIRE! So good, would highly recommend those. Chocolate de agua (or leche? I don't recall) was also really good.
