Nestled in one of Montreals great neighbourhoods, we dined here on a lovely summer evening. The restaurant has a nice cozy atmosphere of people enjoying each others company. The tasting menu and wine pairings were fabulous. Perfectly layered tastes and textures. The service was lovely, genuine and the team are happy to accommodate. Vegetarian, allergies? No problem! Impressive tasting menu that uses a wide variety of fresh ingredients in a unique way. My personal fave is the pre-dessert that served a tomato sorbet with balsamic vinegar and burrata whipped cream. It tasted very fresh and was exactly what you’re looking for when thinking of a transition between savory and sweet. The service is quick and our waiter was very kind. The place isn’t very big so it’s best to reserve before. obsessed with this quaint mile-end resto, where the tasting menu is beautifully presented and incredibly delicious! the 7 course menu changes a little daily making for a fun culinary adventure every time you visit. the service was flawless and the personal touches so appreciated. truly one of the best tasting experiences in mtl. everything was delicious - and I really enjoyed both desserts!

A true gem! This was our third visit in just five months and for good reason. The food is absolutely delicious, with flavors that truly stand out and keep you coming back for more. Each dish is not only full of taste, but beautifully presented, like a work of art on the plate. You can tell how much care and creativity goes into everything they serve. A big thank you to the chef Sean Murray Smith, to Jeremy and the whole team of l’Ile flottante for a wonderful and delicious evening. I highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates great food and a memorable dining experience. Don’t miss out!

Had a lovely evening at Île Flottante. The theme night featured an Asian twist, and the wine pairing was thoughtfully done. The chicken dish stood out as flavorful, while the cavatelli and the single lamb lollipop chop were just okay. The biggest letdown was the portion size, six miniature plates just didn’t feel like a proper meal, especially given the $100+ price tag. Left a bit hungry, which isn’t what you expect at this level. Overall, a refined concept with good execution on some dishes, but lacking in value and satisfaction. I will return to try the regular menu.
