I give it two because of the service. I went here looking for good steak as they say they use aged steaks. I was in for a surprise. The service was so good and unfortunately, this is the only thing going for them. I went for the rib eye steak but got a subpar sirloin. My creamy spinach was overcooked and lacked flavor, the broccoli was OK. Their cocktails have great names but don't taste so great. The only thing I would recommend are the oysters. My friend once told me to avoid empty restaurants as it means their food isn't all that great, I should have listened to her because this was unfortunately true for this particular restaurant. You're better off at Java next door. Their complimentary bread is good, which I'm happy I ate because the rest that was to come... Yikes. Seven Sea & Grill is in ABC place Westlands. Big variety of prawn dishes, and especially the butter prawns in masala sauce are great!

One of the top seafood restaurants in Nairobi and in Kenya in general. Never disappoints, which is why I am kinda addicted to the place! Big variety of prawn dishes, and especially the butter prawns in masala sauce are great!

I came here after looking at all the good reviews. A lot of the reviews are local guides and so I expected that they would be honest as I am with my reviews. I have now realised majority of them are botched and tricked by the look of a fancy restaurant. The food I ordered here was not good at all. My lobster and oyster smelt funny. I could tell immediately this wasn’t fresh seafood . For the price you’re paying, you would expect to get non-frozen items. My partner said something funny. He said I’ve never had a burger whereby I couldn’t taste the patty. And although we laughed about this, we didn’t laugh when the Bill came. We realised we had spent money on nothing when we could’ve gone to Java next door. The only good thing about the meal was the rice that they gave . I’m putting one star because they had good service otherwise I would’ve easily said zero stars.

Food was excellent - seafood was very fresh and very well cooked. Service was also great. Would just say that it is on the expensive side - good for special occasions.
