I was so excited to visit and as one of only two main meals out, I had high expectations for a nice lunch/brunch with friends. I made a reservation for 1.15pm, we weren't seated for a half hour, I could see the table we were meant to sit at and the hostess had to finish setting it as the wait staff just didn't seem to have any sense of urgency. When we were seated the manager offered us two comp starters for our wait, which was kind, definitely the right thing to do andade me feel better as I felt responsible since I'd selected The appetisers, rock shrimp, cow oy queso and an additional speci we ordered a buttermilk chicken with it honey, were all tasty and plentiful. I had the French Dip, it was nice, again plentiful. I would say the mains were just all, ok, but not wow. The restaurant didn't seem as busy for the level of attention we had. Our server was absolutely lovely, but I didn't feel we were taken the best care of all in all. It took an unnecessary dent out of our short time together in Nashville I also think ambience wise, for such a light airy building some gentle music would have been nice for a weekend brunch. Not Broadway blaring but some atmosphere would be good I am sure this isn't the norm given the lovely reviews so do give it a go...but maybe with slightly lower expectations than I had.

We had an amazing dinner experience at this restaurant! Our waiter, Sunshine, was such a delight! He was funny, personable, and overall a pleasure to have serve us. He was knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. He was patient with us, and showed us excellent customer service. Top tier! The food and drinks were excellent as well. We will be back.

Hudson did a wonderful job serving us. I’ve didn’t see the Finch several times before. The food was great. This is a big redemption from the first time I ever ate there back in March 20 24. Everything I ate in this meal was wonderful. We enjoyed the meatballs, the Gyoza, The dip, and my favorite- The French onion soup. I enjoyed the shrimp and grits and it was a huge serving. The restaurant was very busy. The waiting period was a bit lengthy for our drinks. However, all food and beverage just came out with top quality. One area to improve- Start asking, “ Was everything wonderful?” Instead of asking, if everything is “OK” so that you use better buzz words to generate positive reviews. (We were a table of sales and marketing professionals and I picked that up) Overall, Well done!

Phenomenal! Cody was an absolutely fantastic server! … so friendly and attentive! The Finch overdelivered in every way. The atmosphere and music are perfect—you can actually hear each other talk! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I left feeling full, healthy, and genuinely happy. This is such a feel-good restaurant! I’ll definitely be back and will bring everyone I can with me next time! Thank you!

I don’t need to tell you how good this place is. 4.8 stars with thousands of reviews. Believe it!! What I will mention is the level of service. Our server, Bobby, was amazing. He knew the menu thoroughly, offered personal recommendations and gave us the perfect level of attention. He also gave us some great insights into Nashville. He’s a gentleman and a great guy. He made our lunch a great experience.
