We went to Napoleon House to get the best versions of classic New Orleans dishes and it did not disappoint. The first time we went we got the Muffuletta, chicken & Andouille Gumbo and the charcuterie board. All were excellent and the board had a delicious spread of different foods, all were exceptional. The bread on the Muffuletta was not too thick and the sauce from the gumbo was very tasty. The second time we went was to get the Creole Jambalaya which was very good. The fresh fruit was also fresh and excellent, as was the Sazerac cocktail. On our second visit we were in the courtyard at the back which we liked the atmosphere more, it was a classic New Orleans vibe. Our server Adelle was nice and attentive 🙂, even with the place quite busy, it was not too loud and the service was great. Absolutely loved this place! Ambience is amazing. Service is top notch and food is real good. Also the primm drink was out of this world. Special thanks to the manager of the place who showed us the second floor apartments and explained the history of the building, and also some really interesting facts about the history of New Orleans as well. It was an unique experience 🧡🧡🧡 We got seated fairly quickly and we're tucked into a little corner which in the front room. Although a little warm we weren't surprised with that since it is older historical building. We started with the charcuterie board and a pimm's flight. Both were very good. We were surprised we enjoyed the one with gin as neither of us were fans of gin normally. The tomato jam was a great addition to the different cheeses and meats. We then ordered the muffaletta sandwich and salad. The sandwich is served warmed. I originally was worried the bread was too thick it was not and was perfectly delicious. The salad was a good portion and was also very good although it does have an extra something that is different than the sandwich. We would easily order everything again and enjoyed our first dinner to NOLA ...we also left full but not miserable full. Thanks for an enjoyable dinner

A beautiful piece of history in a great location that serves very tasty food. Highly recommend the delicious muffaletta sandwich although the roast beef sandwich and garden salad were also tasty. Service was great and the atmosphere is quintessential New Orleans. Highly recommend this restaurant.

This place was recommended to us from a store in the river walk outlet mall, happy we stopped in. We arrived around 6pm a busy time we did have a 20 min wait. Once inside the lighting is dark sitting is a bit tight. I ordered a quarter of the muffuletta, a side of jambalaya and red beans and rice. The muffuletta is different from the central grocery in the sandwich is warm and bread is toasted. So if you’re looking for a warm muffuletta this is the place to try it, if you prefer cold and deli style central grocery is for you. The jambalaya, delicious I’m no expert but I enjoyed their version. The red beans and rice, it was ok, not a wow for me. This was similar to beans in Mexican burritos or dishes. Overall I appreciate the quarter size for the muffuletta for $8 that’s reasonable and half order is large if your a party of one. I will try the gumbo next time I visit.
