In the heart of old city and close to the beach. The lunch menu is very affordable but we had kangaroo steak that was not the best. Probably chicken cooked same style could be better option, the steak was uncooked and cheewey. We also tried frog legs and snails that were delicious. Overall nice French restaurant in Nice. Located in an alley. Can be quite noisy. People are passing through. A delivery guy on a moped came by at least two times while we were there. People are standing by your table vaping. So, I would recommend you to take a seat inside instead. Service was friendly and efficient. Frog legs were OK, a little bland. Foie grais was nice! Lamb shank was tender. My wife thought that the pasta was a little too soft, and not al dente. Her dish was also a little bland. Bonjour from South Africa. We found Le Frog walking back from old town down a quiet side street and as they had Frogs legs on the menu and always wanting to try them we stopped in for a lunch. The food was brilliant, service friendly and inviting. A great spot for lunch and a glass of rose. Would have loved to return for a dinner but time didn't allow on this trip but will definitely do it on the next one.

Bonjour from South Africa. We found Le Frog walking back from old town down a quiet side street and as they had Frogs legs on the menu and always wanting to try them we stopped in for a lunch. The food was brilliant, service friendly and inviting. A great spot for lunch and a glass of rose. Would have loved to return for a dinner but time didn't allow on this trip but will definitely do it on the next one.

Frog legs are yummy! Lunch Special ~ Seafood Risotto is outstanding with prawn, muscles, salmon and white fish meat, the sauce are rich direct from the ocean!! Price is very reasonable. Duck Confit taste very good come with smooth velvet texture mashed potatoes. Prawn Pasta is unbeatable fresh and tasty. Very friendly local restaurant♡

We had an exceptional meal after stumbling upon Le Frog while wandering around Nice. We are still adjusting to the relaxed dining style where orders are taken at a leisurely pace. We arrived around 8p and were asked if we had reservations. We were surprised since the place looked pretty empty. However, before we left it was packed and we understood why they asked. Our party of four ordered the beef fillet with fries, seafood linguine and the John Dory fish on risotto. Every dish was flavorful, delicious and all plates were cleaned by the end of the meal. We paired our food with wine and champagne which were also impeccable! The seating is in a quaint alley and the atmosphere was an impressive reminder that we were in Nice. Definitely recommend.
