It is not just a one time experience, with this service and food quality and taste, I would like to go very often We loved this place. Arrived early for our reservation and they were able to seat is immediately. Small and cozy and quiet. Food was outstanding. We had the 6 course meal, one of each. It was well worth walking as far as we did to get there. Restaurant is in a quiet neighborhood. Thursday night wasn't super busy and had a good showing. We got both the Chef's Menu (meat) and Fish Menu. Both are good. Maybe the meat dishes were slightly better. Quailty and taste were both excellent. Service was great. We would recommend this restaurant.

Restaurant is in a quiet neighborhood. Thursday night wasn't super busy and had a good showing. We got both the Chef's Menu (meat) and Fish Menu. Both are good. Maybe the meat dishes were slightly better. Quailty and taste were both excellent. Service was great. We would recommend this restaurant.

I came here on a Friday night for dinner in late June with my husband for the first night of our trip to Scandinavia from New York. We were recommended this restaurant by the concierge at our hotel, Christiania Teater. We made a reservation online/through email about three weeks prior. Dinner at this restaurant was honestly an exceptional experience. We both did the fish tasting menu. I had the wine pairing. The food and wines were delicious. The restaurant is adorable, intimate (but not crowded), and not at all touristy. Our server was lovely, attentive, and knowledgeable. The owner of the restaurant came around the various tables to make sure every one enjoyed their food and experience. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. If and when I am in Oslo again, I will definitely look forward to dining here again.

Visited again this restaurant this year. This time, we chose some from the fish and meat dishes making a total of 6 dishes. The portion looks small but on the 5th dish, we were really full. Excellent food. Service was good as well. We reserved to eat in this restaurant to celebrate our birthdays.
