I cannot recommend Don Western & Grill in Penang highly enough! Our group had a very last-minute request for a 19-person reservation, and the team went above and beyond to accommodate us without any hesitation. From the moment we arrived, everything was handled smoothly and professionally. Despite the large group, the food quality was exceptional; fresh, flavorful, and served hot. Every dish tasted as if it was prepared with care, and the consistency across all orders was impressive. The service staff were friendly, attentive, and incredibly organized, making sure everyone was comfortable and well taken care of. It’s rare to find a restaurant that can manage such a big group on short notice while still delivering top-tier food and excellent service. Don Western & Grill absolutely deserves all five stars. Highly recommended for gatherings, celebrations, or anyone looking for a satisfying, high-quality meal in Penang!

First visit to this restaurants with my family members. We tried one of their signature dish : tomahawk & cheesy lamb shoulder. And both are equally tasty with good presentation. Thanks to all service crews and they're very attentive especially Mr Asyraf who offered us a special dessert to celebrate 🥳 our wedding anniversary. Definitely will come back for their friendly service and yummy dishes next vist.

First time here. The ambient was nice Greeted by the waiter,we asked a lot on the menu and he patiently answer us and recommended some.Great service from the staff especially amir very descent man Very smiley and friendly. Gave more info about the food unprompted, just from our confused faces. Really liked the meal a lot in general and felt very satisfied.but it is a bit pricey Even chairs not comfy not good quality and table was not to the level I think restaurant need renovation

The food taste delicious and the portion of the food is adequate. The taste is authentic. The price is reasonable with the atmosphere given (with English pop music). The ambient is clean. The waiter is friendly. We order buttermilk 🌶 clamp with rice & Mac cheese macaroni.

Great service from the staff. Very smiley and friendly. Gave more info about the food unprompted, just from our confused faces. Haven’t had a properly cooked med-rare sirloin in a while but this place did it. Although, the brown sauce was saltier than I would prefer and wouldve liked the vegetables to be a little softer. HOWEVER, really liked the meal a lot in general and felt very satisfied. A heavy serving of mash potatoes - can never go wrong with that!
