If you're craving traditional Czech cuisine, this restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is absolutely delicious—rich flavors, hearty portions, and made just like grandma would. Service is impressively fast without sacrificing quality. The staff are efficient and friendly, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. ✨ Pro tip: Come between lunch and dinner hours, around 4–5 PM. You’ll skip the crowds and get seated immediately—no waiting, just feasting! Highly recommended for anyone wanting a true taste of Czechia without the hassle. Na zdraví! This is a large boisterous beer hall serving up hearty traditional meals and of course beer. I had the boar and my wife had the schnitzel. Both meals were very good. Reservations for dinner were recommended but we decided to go and try to get a table as we just arrived in the city. We didn't have to wait too long and were seated next to a couple of different travelers who we enjoyed chatting with. Service was fast and efficient. A traditional Czech restaurant and one of the most popular in the city, with prices to match. A reservation is recommended as it gets very busy, and consequently quite noisy. The staff was polite and helpful in finding me a table even though I hadn’t booked. The appetizer was suggested by the waitress, though personally I didn’t enjoy it. The schnitzel, however, was very tasty, as were the sweet potatoes served with a uniquely flavored sauce.

Honestly, not more than 3 stars for me. The place was very crowded and the ambience just wasn’t it. The staff were professional but not particularly warm, only the guy who served the food was friendly. We tried the goulash, schnitzel, and the cheese breaded like mozzarella sticks (but in a big size). Everything was okay, quite average overall. The only special thing I really enjoyed was the raspberry beer, which was actually pretty good and refreshing. Otherwise, not a place I’d rush back to.

came her for dinner on my first day in prague as i saw that it was highly recommended this place looks very quiet but once you go in it is actually very big and crowded! staff are generally nice and our waiter was very sweet despite having so many tables to assist with, food was great and reasonably priced too. heard that they also change the menus everyday
