How were they able to make a simple mozzarella and prosciutto starter melt in your mouth like this? Unfussy, uncomplicated but oh so effective. We learned that Carbonara is a Roman dish, so we decided to order Felicé's and WOW!! Rich but palatable sauce, crispy bacon and al dente pasta - it was out of this world. The staff were great with English. They were effective and professional and it felt they had huge pride in the quality of their food. We dined here Wednesday 8th October at 19:00 hours on the terrace. They fired up the outside heaters for us and that kept us very comfortable all night. We enjoyed our time here so much we decided to have lunch here before our return journey to England. We turned up 15 minutes after opening time assuming it would be quiet (12:45) but it was already packed out and theu could just about squeeze us in. Highly recommended. The locals love it. We'd return but we do recommend you make a booking. Of our four restaurants we dined in during our 4 night stay in Rome, Felicé was our favourite. Truly a destination for Roman pastas. Go for Cacio e Pepe and Carbonara. Excellent handmade tonarelli and very generous portions. Service can be improved but the food makes up for it. Do not miss the tiramisu, one of the best things they have. Visited on a Sunday evening in Nov. I actually made the reservation for the wrong evening but the host was gracious enough to accommodate us although the place was packed. Our meals were outstanding. I had the pasta Felice and husband had the ravioli. Simply perfect. The only disappointment was the sommelier. I’m actually a certified wine student/intro sommelier myself and she critiqued my wine choice with no finesse but contempt. She pushed a high priced local wine. We would definitely go back. Highly recommend!!

Our first night in to Rome and we could only get a 3 PM reservation, because of the time difference it was perfect. The food was exceptional. The staff made us feel right at home and I would say it was the best meal of the trip so far and we’ve had many. I would recommend this Restuarant to all my foodies five star. Make sure you get the pasta dish called casa de Pepe!!

I really didn’t like this place. Service was incredibly slow and kept forgetting our orders and we kept having to remind them over and over. Atmosphere was super loud like people were shouting constantly at the other tables, very uncivilised. The food was so mid, not worth the insanely expensive price. I just think a carbonara for more than 12 euros nowadays is insane.
