The prime rib was the best I’ve had. Wish I would have gotten the biggest size but was still full from the house cut. Sides were great as well especially the salad. Service was slow as to be expected with how busy they are but would definitely go back 🥩 A Night to Remember at the House of Prime Rib Last Friday evening, our team gathered at the iconic House of Prime Rib in San Francisco for a well-deserved celebration—and it turned out to be one of the most unforgettable dining experiences we've shared. From the moment we stepped inside, the warm, old-school ambiance set the tone. Rich wood paneling, cozy booths, and the hum of lively conversation created an atmosphere that felt both elegant and inviting. We were greeted with impeccable service, and our server—knowledgeable and charismatic—walked us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm. As the prime rib carts rolled out, anticipation built. Each of us chose our preferred cut and doneness, and when the plates arrived, they were nothing short of spectacular. The meat was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned—paired with creamy mashed potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, and fresh spinach salad tossed tableside. It was indulgence at its finest. What made the evening truly special, though, was the camaraderie. Between bites and sips of bold red wine, we laughed over inside jokes, reflected on recent wins, and even brainstormed ideas for upcoming projects. It was a rare moment where work and friendship blended seamlessly. By the time dessert arrived—classic English trifle and rich chocolate cake—we were already making plans to return. The House of Prime Rib didn’t just serve us a meal; it gave us a shared memory, one that reminded us why we love working together. Delicious food and a fun time, portions are super generous so go prepared to eat, the menu is pretty straight forward and it makes it easy to choose. Hector delivered our meat cuts and he made sure we were happy with our food. Staff is really friendly and attentive, they can also take your group picture and print it for you which is a fun souvenir to remember the night.

Awesome. Just awesome. The prime rib was so good, and every side was incredible. The food ? 5/5 every time. Unfortunately, I cannot quite say the same for the service and atmosphere. Please be aware that no matter the time of day, if you managed to get a reservation, it is very busy. And very cramped. The amount of bodies in there also creates a very hot environment, which contributes the stuffy atmosphere. The service as well - the main server said bread would be coming right away and it didn’t show up until 20 minutes after, during the salad course. I had to ask for it again. They also took a while to come back, so we couldn’t catch them for the check or anything additional for a while. Overall, I think the food is worth it despite the restaurants shortcomings! If you can get a reservation, I do recommend giving their prime rib a try.

First time here. Celebrated my birthday. Wow! What a meal & experience. It's like having dinner inside an English Manor House. From the Manhattan I had (they gave you a shaker with enough for a second drink!), the tableside salad prepared right in front of you. They even bring you a chilled fork. Prime Rib was amazing! Cooked to order. Ask for the loaded mashed potatoes. They bring you a small bowl with bacon, sour cream & chives you can top or mix your mashed potatoes with. Creamed corn was excellent. For dessert, I had the warm apple crisp with a scoop of Double Rainbow vanilla ice cream. What an awesome birthday dinner. Our waiter, JB, was the best. Highly recommend going here. Thanks House of Prime Rib.
