I liked the place, I went for the chefs recommendations. It was good but felt like I received a lot of HH appetizers. I recommend going for the entrees and choose your own dessert. Will have to come back. TLDR: creative touches on a menu of mixed cultural heritage I ordered the hojicha highball and it actually tasted very good, surprising that one flavor did not overpower the other. The food was pretty decent and I liked the dessert most of all. I still think it was a bit pricey considering I didn’t have a main dish and after tax and top it was still close to $95 for two apps, one dessert and one cocktail. Came here before a show nearby. Amazing food and delicious cocktails! The pork belly buns were so perfect, but so was every other dish we had. Definitely come with a decent sized group so you can try a bunch of dishes.

We had such a great experience here! The staff was incredibly accommodating to our kids, which made the evening so much more enjoyable. The food was even better than we remembered—every dish was spot on. The swordfish and pork shoulder were absolute standouts, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The service was outstanding from start to finish, and the drink selection was impressive. We opted for the prix fixe menu, which turned out to be a fantastic value and gave us the chance to try most of the menu.

Liholiho Yacht Club blends Hawaiian roots with California creativity, a vision from chef Ravi Kapur inspired by his family’s pop-ups back on Maui. The menu is built for sharing, with dishes that highlight both heritage and innovation. We started with the duck liver mousse—smooth and melt-in-your-mouth—followed by the poppy-seed steamed bun with beef tongue, a truly unique surprise. The local halibut kinilaw was bright and refreshing, while the American wagyu zabuton arrived tender and deeply flavorful. For dessert, the Baked Hawaii was the perfect finale—playful and delicious. Service was excellent throughout, portions were just right, and reservations are essential as the restaurant is always in high demand.
