Was in the San Pedro area for one day before a cruise. Needed a place within walking distance from our hotel for breakfast. Found Happy Diner. Food was great. I ordered a Swiss cheese omelette with diced tomatoes. Came with home made potatoes and toast (rye with butter). My wife ordered the 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, and 2 slices of crispy delicious bacon. Everything was delicious. Brenda provided terrific service. Stopped by often for coffee refills and to see if everything was ok. A great place for breakfast. They had lunch and dinner items as well on the menu. Highly recommend. Best blueberry pancakes I've ever had - ordered them 3 days in a row, turkey sausage was also very yummy. Friendly servers, no wait, I'd definitely go back. Wonderful cozy breakfast and lunch spot near the LA waterfront. Delicious dining inside or out with fast friendly service. Highly recommend the huevos rancheros, waffles or biscuits.

Best blueberry pancakes I've ever had - ordered them 3 days in a row, turkey sausage was also very yummy. Friendly servers, no wait, I'd definitely go back.

First time eating here in person and was better than I remembered it to go. I had the azteca omelette and it was delicious. Their coffee did not taste the greatest though. I had to add a little more flavored creamer than usual to drink it. Overall, it was a positive experience and I look forward to returning to try other things on their menu.
