Daughter chose this restaurant for her birthday dinner. We ordered a selection of starters and tapas plus a steak (I have a steak weakness). Food came promptly and was thoroughly enjoyable. Because they were mostly small plates, we were able to order extras. The highlight for us were the mushroom croquettes, chorizo, and the tacos. The steak had a nice char on the outside paired with a nice spicy sauce but felt the doneness was under done.. we ordered a medium rare (as we always do) but the middle was deep red instead of a brighter shade.. will remember to order medium to medium rare, which I think will the correct for our taste. But still very nice. Then for our deserts, as most of us were filled to the brim, we just ordered the chocolate something w mango sorbet (hahaha I didn't pay attention as was too full to eat anymore). Will return for future meals. Parking was challenging tho. We spent $840 for 13 pax and had a lot of dishes and a bottle of red wine. To us this is a high value for money restaurant compared to others along the street. The staff were super efficient and willing to accommodate different requests from us. The fish was excellent with very interesting chilli. The dishes were carefully crafted. Dessert was chocolate churros which my family said were one of the best they have tried. Go enjoy yourself with a unique cuisine at very reasonable prices. The food here is outstanding, it honestly Would have been a 5 star if it wasn’t for their drinks. I love the seafood paella, the crust on the rice was perfect. I do wish the seafood was a little more seasoned, they tasted like they were added after the rice was cooked. My favourite was their grilled vegetables, I would visit here agin just to eat this. The grilled pork and salad was interesting, flavourful and well prepared. The only thing I didn’t quite like was their sangria, usually they are made with fresh fruits, but this tasted like chemical/artificial flavours, Something similar to your cough syrup. I’m not sure it’s because of the wine or how it is stored, but as a restaurant, I do highly recommend visiting this place! Love the food!

Located at the tail end of a one way road. The restaurant signage could be easily missed as the Barrio word is on top of the awning. The lower ends of the awning reflected some other words which I mistook for another restaurant instead. Parking could be a challenge during peak hours on weekends, free parking though. Food was generally good. I enjoyed the cauliflower and the prawn dish. But the price is considerably higher than average. Service was ok but nothing spectacular.

Had a great birthday celebration with immensely awesome food. Was given complimentary roasted jalapeño. However, we were not able to bring in own cake for cake cutting unless we order a dessert. With membership, there was $20 birthday voucher to use.
