Had a pleasant dining experience here and the service was excellent! Our attendant Margarette was gracious from the start, from explaining the dishes we were ordering to giving great recommendations for drinks. However, the dishes took quite some time to be served, perhaps due to many guests. I was celebrating my birthday there and they served a birthday desert as well as a polaroid with a card which was super cute! We sat at alfresco which was a little warm but overall the vibes and atmosphere were great. It was also not too noisy and we could enjoy our dinner peacefully. Enjoyed Sunday’s lunch at this One-Michelin starred Californian-Italian Osteria. Seated at their alfresco terrace, slightly hot even in a cloudy day. If you like alfresco style, you can see two resident Mynah birds happily enjoying Italian cuisine leftovers at the plate collection section near our table, love it or not depends if you are a bird lover ;P . Overall the antipasti crispy garlic burrata, pasta Maltagliati duck ragu , Proscuitto pizza, mains of grilled lamb, chicken and wagyu tagliata did what Nancy Silverstone’s quote intended “it is important when you create dishes for a menu, that the dishes you put in are dishes that bring people back”. On the other hand, Olive oil cake gelato dessert was a miss for me, the olive oil used for the gelato could be of a better quality in my opinion. Yes! Will be back when cravings hit! The food was good, the pizzas were really yummy. Cocktails were also good. The dessert (olive oil ice cream and cake) was abit of a miss for us. However, we were quite disappointed with the service. We were here to celebrate our birthdays because we saw the reviews that the staff were very attentive and considerate (especially for customers celebrating special events). We unfortunately did not have a similar experience. The waiter who was in charge of our section did not pay attention to our table at all, and it was very evident because we could observe how he served and waited on other tables around us, which were also celebrating birthdays/anniversaries. In particular, while other tables had staff actively going over to celebrate their birthdays (offering complimentary dessert and taking Polaroids), we had to ask the waiter if there was any dessert we could order to celebrate our birthdays. The waiter also took more than 10 minutes to give us the dessert menu, because he prioritised other tables and forgot that we had asked for the menu. He barely gave us his recommendations/explained the dessert menu when we asked him, but we saw that he spent a good 5-10min at a table near us explaining the menu to the customers at that table. All in all, really quite disappointed with the service. Food was good, prices were also reasonable, but more can be done to improve the service.

Food was generally good! My personal favourite was the rosemary olive oil cake. Liked the burrata cheese with chilli oil. Felt like I was eating Lao gan ma with burrata, but it was surprisingly a great combo. Staff was very attentive and friendly as well. She noticed that our table was shaky and helped stabilise it with a coaster. Thank you for the hospitality!

Restaurant had a lovely ambience. Really enjoyed the duck ragu pasta and the roast chicken was delightfully juicy - highly recommended. The roast broccoli paired really well with the slightly spicy sauce and still retained a good crunch. Food quality was definitely amazing. Only gripe was that all the dishes there were too heavy on the salt.
