The owner ‘s, also being the Chef and his wife were the most gracious hosts. They warmly welcomed us into the kitchen showing each dish freshly prepared. Truly one of the greatest meals I have ever had. I ordered the Cordon Blue because my husband raved about it although he chose the pork loin this visit (seriously to die for). I wanted him to enjoy my leftovers as the portions are quite large. If you finish your plate JB is happy to fill it again because his mission is to send you away as satisfied as possible. He has been in business here since 1997. Truly a GEM of a find. Don’t forget the exquisite chocolate mousse 😘 If you dinghy up to it there is a good tie up. From the back you cannot see a sign. The treasure lies within. We got the Cordon bleu with cauliflower gratin, Veal with rice and leak sauce, 2 coronas and 1 mousse for $42 / 38€. I’d recommend the cordon with the rice and leak sauce. The food reminds me of my Polish mother’s cooking. Area felt a bit scary, but many other people come here for lunch at 12:30. The chef owner actually does take you into his kitchen and shows you what he has for the day and he and his wife can cook. Very simple presentation but so delicious and reasonable

An absolute must! I repeat...an absolute must. No menu to read. The owner and chef (JB) will take his time explaining what he has. You can even tour the kitchen. The best lasagna I ever had. The best cordon Bleu I ever had. And don't forget the chocolate mousse. Simply divine. I will be coming back to St Maarten and back to JB and Paula for the food.

An unassuming little restaurant with amazing food and a very friendly owner. Jean-Baptiste gave us a tour of the kitchen so we could see all the great meals he was cooking, and then served us incredible French cooking. Cordon Bleu with pasta, and bœuf bourguignon with cauliflower gratin. Plus homemade chocolate mousse for dessert! Don't miss this place!
