I got to try out a meal at Hafeni Traditional Restaurant in Mondesa, and oh man, what a treat! The place gives off such a warm, homely vibe — super chill and full of that real Namibian feel. The staff were all smiles and made me feel right at home. The food? Absolutely fire! 🔥 I had chicken, tripe with mahangu porridge and hibiscus spinach. It tasted just like a proper homemade meal, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The portions were generous too, so you definitely get your money’s worth. If you’re in Swakop and craving something authentically Namibian, Hafeni’s the spot! Trust me, you’ll leave happy and full. 😋 Had a wonderful experience here. Great people making delicious food. Had a wonderful experience here. Great people making delicious food. They went through the whole menu with us and were excellent hosts. Definitely give this a try if you want some local, non-german food.
