This spot has the most beautiful panoramic views to enjoy the best fresh tuna. The portions of the main dishes are big so I recommend to split. The views are incredible and the people really sweet Beautiful lunch spot. Upon arriving we were captivated by the view. We showed up on a Sunday lunch without a reservation and place was packed. We were informed that there would be a short 30mns break. Based on the very positive reviews and atmosphere, we decided to wait. Once we were seated, we were promptly given menu and order was taken shortly after. It took about 30mns for our food, but we didn't care- the view from our table was just breath taking. We had ordered their p special rock lobster plate and their large mixed plate with several tuna different ways, shrimp, and fish. Upon arriving plates were loaded with amazing food to the eye. Unfortunately, once tasted we quickly changed our tunes. 2 huge rock lobster tasted mooshy, food that supposed to be hot like mussels marinières and Escargot were cold, and tuna tartare and tuna crudo were warm. Food was overcooked, lacked seasoning, and just not very good. It was a total disappointment. Service was nice, but just couldn't make up for the food. I just can't recommend this place, when there are so many great restaurants in Tahiti. The view is beautiful and you can see many fish swimming from the deck. It was a bit of a long wait to order and receive the food, so don't go if you are in a hurry. I believe reservations may be recommended. Food is delicious, fresh, local, authentic and very generous portions.

The location and ambiance is what you are paying for. The fish supreme was two types of fish and was very fresh. However the sides were a bit bland. Also, they wouldn't let us sit by the water at noon on a Wednesday without a reservation....

If you want to eat with your feet in the sand, looking at the lagoon, this is the place to go. But be aware that this come at a high price for food that are okay, but not great either. If that's a compromise you're willing to take, you'll have a good time. It was a bit too much for me, hence 4 stars. Beware, its a popular spot, so book in advance to avoid bad surprises, especially on sunny days.
