Firstly, I'd like to say that as someone who doesn't visit Michelin restaurants often, I'm judging this a little harsher compared to usual ones as it's easy to witness the complexity and effort that goes into it. First the good, I loved the desserts, pumpkin soup and some of the custom fish dishes that were created for the day. The sauces were exquisite for some of them. There were some I didn't like as well but that's a part of it. This is not necessarily bad, but as it often happens with Michelin restaurants, anything off is really noticeable and tends to ruin the overall experience. I love my meats and was really looking forward to the main course. When I got it, the server said I could eat with my fingers and provided a finger bowl. I tried eating it that way and the lamb was so tough that I could not even chew through and had to put it back which was really awkward , so tough that it took me a while to even cut it with my knife. What irked me was the misleading instructions. If it was meant to be that tough(which I doubt), why ask me to use my fingers. The language barrier unfortunately added to the issue. The lack of any ownership on bringing up the issue was disappointing. Recent reviews have been scathing against the place so I was concerned, but Ryuzu at least for lunch was well worth its 2 stars, especially considering the price (a steal compared to int’l Michelin starred restaurant pricing). Each dish was well thought out and executed, and service was attentive. I'm so lucky to be able to get a table for lunch here. Excellent French cuisine with an integration of local produce. We will definitely come again.

We came for lunch and it was exquisite. The servers were all phenomenal and the food was outstanding. It was pricey but well worth it. Highly recommend!

I don’t recommend Ryuzu. The food from this restaurant can’t be reached the standard of Michelin 2 stars. It is worse than the normal good French restaurant. The only impression is too salty.
