I’ve heard many good things about seahorse and my fiancé and I decided to give them a try. I would have to say that their food was enjoyable. I’ll probably give it a 7.5/10, mostly because it didn’t have the sides of my choice but the food itself was delicious , I had the lobster (order ahead) and my fiancé had the steak which were enjoyable. The service was 10/10, the minute you order something it comes to your table almost immediately and it still came out well cooked. The ambience also a 10/10 , why am I having dinner and I’m hearing the waves crashing on shore ?!!!?🤩 amazing. Fortunately enough for us there were random fireworks that night which made the experience Soo much better. The place itself had a nice aesthetic , the sign and steps are like straight out of a movie! The real star of the show was the dessert. OMG! We ordered the mango and raspberry sorbets. They were so cold, crisp, icy and refreshing. I will be back to dine again seahorse. See you soon. I do not have a picture of my food as I devoured it and here’s a picture of the sorbet mid devoured as well 🤣❤️ Love the ambience, beautiful lights and across from the beach and ocean. Food was delicious but a little over priced in my opinion, that being said service was excellent and we would return for a special occasion it stands out against the other restaurants in Tobago. You wouldn't be disappointed if like us you choose here for that special dinner. Nicely done Seahorse. Always a great dining experience. Been going here for years everytime I visit Tobago and their service and food has always been top notch. Could easily be the best restaurant on the island and if not the only fine dining there is around here.

Went for a birthday dinner with my partner..ambience is lovely.. outdoor seating...lighting gives a very romantic vibe. Food we ordered taste good and wait time was not too long , however I would have liked a more extensive menu..Definitely more chicken options needed. Waiters were very pleasant. Overall not a bad experience.

On entry, Seahorse Restaurant and Bar immediately sets the tone for what feels like a high-class fine dining experience. The ambiance is undeniably beautiful — warm lighting, rustic wooden architecture, and dining under the stars with the soothing sound of waves in the background. It creates an incredibly romantic atmosphere that could rival top-tier coastal restaurants. Unfortunately, while the setting is outstanding, the dining experience itself did not live up to expectations. Service was mediocre, rating about 5/10, and felt inattentive compared to what one would expect from such a premium establishment. The appetizers were fair (6/10), but both the main courses (4/10) and desserts (5/10) were underwhelming, lacking refinement and consistency. The restaurant does offer a kids’ menu, which is a plus for families, but even here the attention to detail fell short — chipped plates were served, detracting from the overall dining experience. Despite being a seemingly busy restaurant with a breathtaking setting, the overall impression was average. Seahorse certainly has the ambiance of a fine dining restaurant, but the food quality and service did not align with its image. With improvements in consistency, service standards, and presentation, it has the potential to truly match its stunning location. Overall Rating: 5/10 – Worth a visit for the atmosphere, but not for the fine dining quality one might expect.
