The Tree Restaurant Yogyakarta

It's located within the Amaranta Prambanan Hotel in Dawangsari, Prambanan. We went to the restaurant specifically for dinner. We ordered Bebek Sambirejo and Iga Prambanan (beef ribs). We also ordered Pisang Goreng Pawon, Orange Juice, and Pineapple Juice. In addition, ordered a birthday cake for a birthday person. Bebek Sambirejo is duck marinated in special spices, wrapped in banana leaves and cooked on a brazier. It's served with white rice, sauteed cassava leaves or fresh vegetables, chili sauce, and crackers. Beef ribs are cooked on a brazier with special spices. They're served with white rice, sauteed cassava leaves or fresh vegetables, chili sauce, and emping (crackers). The food was delicious but nothing special. What's special is the beautiful view, as it's on a hill, and the lights twinkle at night. The service was good, friendly, and fast. While the prices are moderate. Please enjoy the photos.

I was out checking out the temples in the area. I saw some good reviews of this place so I came here. The food was pretty good. I got the bbq meat dish recommended by the server. She didn't speak much English though. The view has a nice countryside view of Yogyakarta. The food is a little bit more pricey than the typical local food. It was a nice meal.

The Tree Restaurant serves such a delicous food and a great view. I ordered Chicken Schnitzel and Watermelon Juice. The chicken was very juicy and soft, the watermelon juice was very refreshing. It was my second visit and as expected I had such a great time with my family at every visit. The service was very good and very responsive, thanks to the kind waiter and waitress.

The buffet breakfast at Rp 150K per pax is worth the money. The Tree offers a wide selection of Asian and Western favorites. What's so nice is the views to the North where one can see the Prambanan Temple on a clear morning/day. There's ample indoor and outdoor seating areas and a 2nd level (if needed). If you're interested in local Yogyakarta's foods, the Tree creates a section for Gudeg, all kind of satay, fried snacks and jamu (herbal drinks).

this restaurant is indeed one with the Amaranta hotel area, but even so this restaurant has the charm of such a beautiful view, the whole Prambanan temple and the surrounding area looks wide with green trees and blue sky, the access is quite steep but the roads are all paved, food and drinks also delicious, the service is quite friendly, maybe next time I will stay at this hotel
