A truly wonderful restaurant with a stunning view, the perfect spot to watch the sunset. You instantly feel welcome the moment you’re greeted by the friendly staff, who provided excellent service throughout the evening. The highlight, of course, was the food and drinks. We shared the starter plate, then had the soy glazed tuna, the falafel, and finished with the caramel baobab cake for dessert. Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. It was definitely the culinary highlight of our two week trip through Zanzibar! If you’re anywhere near Kizimkazi and don’t visit this restaurant, you’re really missing out. Our only regret is not discovering this place sooner, we would have come back every day! A hidden gem worth seeking out. The restaurant menu is excellent, a perfect fusion of Tanzanian and Jamaican cuisine. The ambiance is lovely. As a Jamaican visiting Tanzania for the 1st time, it has left quite an impression. I’d recommend you definitely add this spot to your “must visit” list. The customer service is great as well. It stands out with its oceanfront setting, giant palm trees, and attractive garden design. The tables are carefully prepared, as is the menu. I chose the fish platter. Everything on the plate was delicious, including the fried ugali and its sauce. However, the fish slices were a bit thick and not cooked well. I will return to try their other dishes.

We had a wonderful meal at Fahari. The food was exceptional. The tacos, jerk chicken and chimichurri fish were all hits. The setting is breathtaking and the hospitality first class.
