The Red Dao and Black H'Mong in particular have some of the most captivating, with symbolic patterned themes, intricate fabric embellishment, hand embroidery, and natural dyeing. Join Black H'Mong artisans in Lao Chai Village for an introduction to hemp production, batik design, and natural dyeing with indigo over the course of this full-day textile workshop.You won’t go through all 41 steps needed to complete a design, but you will uncover the meaning behind some of the most important H'Mong folk art symbols and sit down for a traditional H'Mong lunch.
