CSHL is ranked among the leading basic research institutions with Thomson Reuters ranking it #1 in the world in molecular biology. - The private home of James Watson, an American molecular biologist. In 1953, he co-authored with Francis Crick the academic paper proposing the double helix structure of the DNA molecule. - The former home of Beatles John Lennon - Tiffany Tower in Laurel Hollow - You are just a few minute walk to the historic Village of Cold Spring Harbor, where you may visit the shops & restaurants. - Take a hike at CSH State Park. Hiking and parking is free, and the (2) trails are some of the most popular and highly rated hikes on Long Island.

Look for our white Chevy Astro van and kayak trailer parked on Rt. 25-A across the street from Cold Spring Harbor State Park & Library. Arrive at least 45 minutes before your trip time. Late arrivals might miss trip and no refund can be granted. Parking is free on 25-A & parking lot at State Park.

Look for our white van and trailer parked on Harbor Rd. (Rt. 25-A). Please arrive a minimum of 45 minutes before your scheduled trip time. Late arrivals might not make the trip and no refund will be issued. Wear shoes that can get wet! No coolers, pets or smoking of any kind allowed. We can hold your valuables such as car keys and phones for safety. Leave everything else in your car or our truck! All kayaks are single kayaks, so everyone will need to paddle their own kayak. All on site purchases such as water, hats, paddling gloves & water proof phone bags must be paid in cash. Tips are appreciated for a job above and beyond your expectations.
