The families we will visit are members of local agricultural cooperatives and through these cooperatives they have been able to obtain organic and fair trade certification. During the tour, you will discover a Peruvian province (La Convencion) in the mountainous jungle that tourists rarely visit. Once there, you will be completely immersed in the life of the family, meeting the farmers, visiting the farm, picking and tasting local fruits. Afterwards, you will learn and experience for yourself the different steps of making a product that you frequently consume: chocolate. As a family, couple or small group, accompanied by the farmers, participate in all the traditional stages of cocoa production, from picking to tasting.
