About This Tour
Inis Mór (Inishmore), the largest of the Aran Islands, is filled with traditional Irish culture and offers breath-taking scenery, ecclesiastical ruins and prehistoric stone forts such as the world renowned, Dún Aonghasa. Hop on a mini-bus tour or pony and trap and explore the island with a local guide. Meeting Point
We depart from Rossaveel Harbour - a port 23 miles west of Galway City centre. Passengers are advised to allow one hour driving time from the City to the Port. If you want to book a shuttle bus transfer from Galway city, please book in one of our offices.
Special Instructions
Please present your ticket to a member of the crew at the ferry gate number 2 prior to boarding, at least 20-minutes prior to departure time. Ferry Departure Time: our ferries depart daily at 10:30am from the sheltered harbour of Rossaveel in Connemara, Galway (this is a one hour drive from Galway City). Passengers can enjoy the convenience of our bus shuttle service departing from Galway city to our ferry terminal. (Please book this service in one of our Galway city offices). Ferry Return Time: The ferry will depart Kilronan pier (drop-off point) at 17:00. Passengers are advised to present for boarding 20 minutes prior to ferry departure time.
