The last ancient city of the Sogdians 5-8cc ad in Zerafshan Valley with very ancient background along the Great Silk Road, which was ruined by Arabs invasion 7-8 cc ad. Hometown of Rudaki, the first great modern Tajik poet in 10th Century.
