About This Tour
In this tour you will taste of nomadic life and explore the 16th largest desert in the world –Kyzylkum with Yurt camp stay .During the tour, you will visit a historical small town –Nurata that located in the foothills of Nuratau Mountains, stretching out hundreds kilometers from Jizzakh and Barren Steppe to Navoi and Kyzylkum desert. According to legend the origin of the city and its name came from the fortress Nur, which was founded by Alexander the Great in 4th century BC. Besides, you will explore the Sarmysh-say tract, one of the most famous places in Central Asia with over 10,000 petroglyphs with the age dating back to Stone and Bronze Ages, images of deers, goats in the animal style typical for the Scythian tribes of art circle (early Iron IX-II cent. BC). Furthermore, you will visit Aydarkul Lake, the real miracle of nature, in the middle of desert.
